Quality Assurance Unit

In 1998, Laboratorio Echevarne was awarded GLP and EN ISO 9001:1994 certifications. Since then the laboratory has offered a quality management based service. Nowadays, compliance to society expectations and customer driven quality standards has triggered a change in managerial styles. A Quality Management System is crucial to continuous performance improvement beyond current requirements. The operational platform in which this system stands is known as Process Management and it is based on a dynamic cycle which includes planning-implementation-verifying-acting and a Customer satisfaction oriented approach, facilitating service satisfaction evaluation and the extent of fulfillment of customers' requirements. This new approach enables Quality Management to provide the board of directors with the information needed to set sound grounds from which the needs and interests of the different organisations and customers can be taken into consideration.
