Departments    R+D+i         Director:   Dr. Raúl López      The main aim of the R+D+I department is the development, validation and implementation of new analytical methods of clinical and industrial interest. This department also collaborates with all the other units and centres of the institution during the modification of analytical techniques in routine use in the laboratory. The assurance of specific rules of each R+D+i project is another function of the department. The R+D+I department employs highly qualified research staff in charge of the adaptation and development of techniques which are at a pre-commercialisation stage, using R+D+I ‘s own equipment and resources or the technology already in routine use in the laboratory.
